Making great cover images for your TpT products is one of the best things that you can do to get more clicks on your resources. Think about why. When someone is scrolling through resources on Teachers Pay Teachers, they see a long list of products and their images. So how do they decide which one they will click on to investigate and potentially buy?

We do judge a book by its cover. We also just TpT products by their color.

So having a crisp, clean cover image that stands out is going to get you more clicks, and ultimately more sales.

If you want advice on how to make your own cover images, I have a great post that you can read here.

However, if you want to save yourself time and guarantee that you’ve got great cover images, then I recommend you purchase some templates.

Why You Should Purchase Templates

Spending a few dollars to save you time and guarantee a great result is a good investment. In fact, that’s what we are promising our customers every day with our TpT store; we will give them a great resource, and save them the time of having to make their own.

Your time has value. So saving time by buying templates, investing in courses, reading books, etc. is worth it.

TpT Cover templates guarantee that you will have good designs. This will get you more clicks and generate you more money. Templates are also going to save you lots of time. Which as we said above is a good thing!

Where to Find Templates?

Templates have become popular, so you can find them by doing a Google Search or by going to Teachers Pay Teachers and typing “Cover Template” into the search bar or “TpT Cover Images”

What to Look for

Obviously, you want to like the style and make sure that you have a good selection in the download.

The big thing to watch out for is what type of file the download is.

Most are either a Microsoft PowerPoint, Google Slides, or a Canva template. make sure you have that program (Canva is a website and is free to use) and are familiar with it so that you’re not stuck trying to download something or learn a program after you’ve made a purchase that’s supposed to save you time and make your life easier.

I have made 17 TpT Cover Templates, and they’re pretty good if I do say so myself. Feel free to check them out if you’re interested in purchasing premade templates. My templates are in Canva.

About my Templates

I actually made these for my membership, as a bonus. But they are so good, and are such a help to sellers, I put them on Teachers Pay Teachers in case you wanted them. This is one of many bonuses inside my membership.

These templates, which you have seen a good amount of in this post, are all different styles. I have preselected fonts and colors that will make them pop and easy to read, of course, you can edit them as you like. They have frames for you to drag and drop images of your worksheet(s) into them, quickly and easily, no fuss.

These templates come as a Canva template link. So you will open the link and then a copy will be made for you so that you can edit and use as you see fit. You must have a Canva membership to use the templates, however, Canva is free and I tried to select images, fonts, and cliparts that are not an additional cost to download if you are on the free membership. However, I cannot guarantee that all of the fonts and cliparts are free as Canva often changes things. If you have the paid Canva membership, all of it will be free to download after you have purchased the template from my TpT store.
